Depending on your event details, Jenny may choose to bring an assistant (at no additional charge) to help capture guest photos and answer any questions.

The artist works from photos so guests are free to enjoy the event and pick up their favors at the end—if finished—or stay to watch and be entertained! Paintings will be individually wrapped in protective cellophane bags for safe transport.

A 25% non-refundable deposit and signed contract are required to secure your date; the remaining 75% balance is typically due 4 weeks prior to the event. The artist accepts Venmo or PayPal.

Maybe! Jenny is a mom of three young children so travel is currently on a very limited basis. The artist's private studio is based in West Bloomfield, Michigan (a suburb of metro Detroit). Travel fees are extra. You can always pre-order watercolor portraits (for place cards, seating charts, guest favors, sign-in boards/table displays, thank you notes) hand-painted in studio and shipped directly to you. With this option, if Jenny isn't available to paint live at your event, you can still surprise and delight your guests with custom art!

At this time, Jenny only live paints Storybook Style guest portraits. Due to the highly detailed nature of the artist's Realistic Style of portraiture and time intensive process of the watercolor technique, couples/family paintings are only offered in studio by commission. All portraits are hand-drawn in archival ink and hand-painted with high-quality professional watercolors on 5"x7" acid-free cotton paper.

Approximately 6-8 minutes per guest (13-15 min. per couple, etc.). Not all guests will be painted live during the event. The goal is not to churn out as many as possible but to both quickly and accurately capture a guest's likeness in Jenny's signature "Storybook Style." To accommodate as many live portraits as possible, this whimsical style of fashion sketch illustration captures a guest’s likeness waist up with simplistic facial features. Your guests will take home an artistic keepsake they'll be excited to display for years to come.

For certain types of events, a specific number of portraits will be guaranteed per hour (a portion of which may be finished afterward in studio). You can also choose to order additional in studio portraits to be shipped directly to you or picked up locally.
